Nature Textures

The more one experiences the design, process and illusion of life all around us, it becomes possible that textural photographs can express multiple meanings and emotion about the beauty of the earth. Nature has a great variety of organic shape and motion within it which is always visible but little understood. For me, this is part of a process of learning to see, where clarity is not to do with technical observance but more in understanding the role of abstraction, metaphor and relationships between patterns and designs. Understanding flow, change and growth in the natural world is best expressed through composition, lens choice and focussing, a practical pathway to achieving a more precise visual description. Many intriguing images contain uncertain meanings that can stimulate one’s imagination in a rewarding way.
